This recipe is great for batch-making before your period, freezing and grabbing them on the go...or chilling in bed.
Ingredients
- 100g Dates plus hot water to cover
- 50g Pumpkin Seeds & Flaxseed Follicular blend (Ground)
- 2 heaped tbsp Cacao
- 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 100g Oats
- Pinch of salt
- 40g Dark Chocolate (chopped)
Method
- Place the dates in a bowl and cover with just-boiled water, leave to stand for 10 minutes
- Meanwhile, place the ground Follicular blend, cacao, peanut butter, oats, and salt in the food processor.
- Add the dates and blitz adding 1 tbsp of the water from the dates at a time until the dough starts to come together (you’ll need roughly 5 tbsp).
- Place the dough in a bowl and add the chopped dark chocolate
- Using your hands, mix the chocolate into the dough then form it into balls (roughly 12 works well)
- Store in the fridge in a container or in the freezer and remove from the freezer 10 minutes before you’d like to eat them
